Jabeen Begum, MD, obtained her bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery (MBBS) from Deccan College of Medical Science, Hyderabad, India, at the Dr. NTR University of Health Science. She obtained her MD specializing in microbiology at Gandhi Medical College. Begum has worked as a consultant microbiologist at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology Hospital (AIG Hospitals, Gachibowli) and has also spent time working on a variety of clinical cases, with a focus on laboratory investigations and techniques. In her free time, she loves to read books and spend time with her young child.
